Laundry & Ironing
Schedule days for laundry - We do laundry on Mondays & Thursdays so we don't have piles all over our house all week long.
Fold the laundry while you read aloud - I know several families who do this.
Iron during read aloud time - My daughter likes to read to us, so I iron (or mend) during this time. If you do all the reading aloud, then have your kids iron while you read to them.
Any other ideas on the never ending laundry and ironing?

Getting It All Done
Organizing Misconception Debunked
Thinking if you just write it down, it will get done. You can write all you want, but if you don't act on the things you jot down, they will never get done.
Erin, a stay-at-home mom, loves to make lists. She has To Do lists, lists of movies she'd like to see, lists of chores she wants to complete, lists of friends she wants
to contact, lists of activities she would like to do with her children, and scores of other lists that are way too numerous to even mention.
However, Erin has a huge problem with getting to anything on her lists. She is under the impression that just writing up lists is enough.
Having lists is wonderful and you should definitely have them. But to get anything accomplished, you have to actually schedule time to DO the things on your lists.

Your Child's First Book
I hope you didn't Thursday night's call like I did. Armand interviewed Jim Edwards, who is known for his ebook creations. Do you want a purpose for your child’s writings? Ebooks may be the answer. Once your child writes the ebook, you can publish it on a website – no printing, no up-front investment, no shipping, no inventory.
What a great way for your kids to write their first book or start their own business selling ebooks!!
If you missed the call and want to listen to the replay, you can get the phone call registration info at http://bigseminar.familye-biz.com/ After you sign up, you will receive an e-mail with phone number and code to listen to the next call. If you don't get the replay info, send them an e-mail. They are quick to respond. If you have a speaker phone, hook up the speaker and let the entire family listen. You will be glad you did.
Off to listen to Jim and his new ideas.

Math Stories
You read it right. Math stories are a great way to introduce, teach and reinforce mathematical concepts. I know I remember stories a lot better than facts and your kids will too. On another loop, this site was given with math stories for grades 1-4. You can simply print out the stories and read them with your kids.
