When you have a downloadable product, like an ebook, one of the best ways to sell it is through affiliates. You may have a large list that will buy your new ebook, but you will make more money when you have an army of sales people recommending your ebook to their customers.
Where can you find affiliates?
Everybody can be an affiliate when you sell your ebook through Clickbank. Clickbank is one of the largest sources of downloadable products which makes it the best rated ebook reseller on the internet. They also offer an affiliate commission to those who recommend and sell Clickbank products. Website owners are always looking for ways to monetize their site, so many look through Clickbnak for complimentary products.
When you set up your own ebook on Clickbank, you must decide the ebook price and the affiliate commission rate. There’s nothing worse than seeing a five dollar book on Clickbank because you’ve got to share that with somebody. Remember, you’ve got to share enough money to make it worth my while, as an affiliate. I’m not going to try to recommend a product that I can only make two fifty.
Instead, I’m going to recommend a product where I’ll make twenty-five dollars per sale.
Let's look at the cost structure of ebooks. Clickbank gets the first cut, let’s say their five dollar cut. As the author of the ebook, you’re going to share forty to fifty percent of it with the person selling your book. Your affiliates must get a decent commission or it's not worth their time to promote it.
As an ebook author, be sure you choose a price that reflects the meaty content you've included. Then, be generous with your affiliate commission and offer at least forty percent of the sales price. Hey, it's a downloadable ebook and you have very little production costs, if any. Then, your affiliates are happy and will spend more time promoting your ebook to their list. And you get more money in your pocket because you have an army of sales people telling the world about your ebook.

$9000 a Month From A Board Game?
Hi!
This is crazy...
Last week, I sent a link to Jeff Walker's newest video about product launches.
You saw that, right?
http://productlaunch.familye-biz.com/
If not, it's probably because you aren't in my FamilyEbiz Mom group. So, why am I mentioning this video to a bunch of homeschoolers.
Well, in our homeschool we combine subject areas all the time...AND we make our studies apply as much to real life as possible. So, we often work on projects that my kids can make money online. I want them to have the skills to make money on their own, so they are not depnendent on a J-O-B.
Sooo...if you didn't see Jeff's excellent video, you need to see his newest video because it blows this thing wide open. Jeff explains exactly how John made $9000 a month from a board game . . . an educational and health-conscious board game!
Have you ever wanted to tie together your passion with homeschooling. I don't know that John homeschools, but he definitely took his passion and turned it into something very educational, his own board game.
Get this...
John went from food stamps to six figures using a brand new product launch method. If you've ever dreamed of making some extra cash using your own passion, you gotta watch Jeff & John's video.
Go check it out now - it's free and you don't even need to give your email or anything...

IMPORTANT: like I said above - you don't have to enter your email or anything... but I think you're crazy if you don't go ahead and subscribe on that page. Because there's a super-ninja part 2 of the video that you don't want to miss.
Here's the link again:

Blessings,
Kerry Beck
P.S. I love this case study, because it shows that the "little guy" can still crush it using simple product launch strategies. I know because several years ago, Jeff's simple strategies took our business to the next level, and swept our kids' homeschool right into the middle of it.
And what's even more sweet about this video is that you can take this same simple strategy and use it with your own passion.
Don't miss it:

P.P.S. We'll be using some of Jeff's strategies to launch my kids' newest product this spring.
