Twenty Years Ago Yesterday

I forgot to post yesterday!
Twenty years ago yesterday I made that commitment, saying "I do" to the most wonderful man on the planet. Sure we have had our ups and downs, but I would not be the person I am today if it were not for Steve. God has used him mightily in bringing me closer to Christ. I am so thankful that Steve is not afraid to point out my sins and show me places where I need to change. He is truly a leader in our marriage.

Many years ago I prayed for changes in our marriage and I had no idea how far above my expectations God would take our marriage. It was at that time I heard someone on James Dobson encouraging wives to pray for their husbands. It was also at that time that I decided I would quit nagging Steve over some areas in our marriage. Praying is the BEST medicine for anything, no matter how small it may seem. God is faithful in our marriage and I am grateful for all the growth God has given to both of us over the past 20 years.
