Did you know we were suppose to move back to Texas last year, but decided to wait and move this coming summer? Well, God has a sense of humor because this is the worst winter we’ve had up here in Idaho. Snow, Snow, and more Snow!
Actually, I think it’s beautiful outside, but it’s still a big mess getting around town! Since our truck (the only vehicle with snow tires) caught on fire last spring (remember the truck fire sale), we decided we could make it this winter without studded snow tires. The past 3 winters have been so mild, how could this one be any worse? Let’s just say we’ve had a few nerve-wracking trips, with lots of prayer!
After another 8-10 inches of snow, we bought used, studded snow tires yesterday afternoon. I feel much better :-)
Speaking of snow, did you see the Green Bay football game in the blizzard a couple of weeks ago? I had a new appreciation for games in the snow.
Well, football is in the air - in our house.
This week we are gearing up for the Super Bowl, so I want to share some fun activities you could do with your kids. Why not make math, writing & history a little more interesting by tying it to football and the Super Bowl?
I am posting activities on my each day this week, so check my homeschool curriculum site daily for Super Bowl activities.
