Don't Get a Job - Get a Niche Instead!

People often seek my advice, looking for ways to improve the economies of poorer areas and develop business solutions that benefit the entire community. Yet for all their good intentions, they rarely understand the difference between a job and a business.

If you have a business, the opportunities for profit are only limited by your imagination. However, the profits from a job are limited, even restricted. You exchange your precious time for a specified amount of money (usually best described as "never enough"). It's easy to see the benefits of attracting business to a community, rather than simply seeking jobs.

To attract business, people must learn to think like entrepreneurs. They must find a niche, research it, and discover what their customers really want. Once they know this, they can meet the needs of their niche. Profits will naturally follow.

Here's where you come in. You can teach them to think like entrepreneurs.

Really, you can. Start with the niche you know best, your own customers. Help them to learn more and earn more, and they will become loyal long-term clients. From there, share the word with your friends, your church, and more. Like ripples on a pond, the word will spread until you have taught the whole town to make amazing profits in their business.

It takes time, of course. Offer free courses and other great information to your customers. Jesus Christ is the Lord of all, of your heart and your business. Spread the word, and everyone will reap the rewards.

The internet includes thousands of special interest groups online. Seek out those with similar characteristics to your present niche. Using surveys, ask them what they want. You can make your own surveys on www.SurveyMonkey.com. The answers you receive will help you understand what they need the most, so you can provide it for them. Search Google for affiliate programs linked to your niche.

You can add literally dozens of products to your website, all chosen to fulfill your customer's needs. Invite members of each group to your website, where you display a range of products designed to appeal to them. Of course, you want them coming back for more - collect their emails so you can keep them posted on new products!

People love to talk about their passions, and your emails let them do that. Everyone loves to learn more about their interests, or to hear of someone else who shares the same passions. Share the joy with your customers, and get ready to make amazing profits with your online business.
