The law of God is pleasant food
Which finds its way to spirit bones
So men may stand upright before
All lawless thrones.

This law of God is ordered truth
For those who under orders stand.
We cannot hate the scepter in
His gracious hand.

His enemies and ours hate law;
They agitate for legal sin.
They do not see that liberty
Is law within.
