Thinking Outside the Box with Jobs

Our first Family Entrepreneur Conference & Retreat was a huge success. By the end of the weekend, I was even motivated to go home and implement some new ideas...and I was one of the speakers! Our visits with other homeschool entrepreneurs, Jim Erskine, Mary Jo Tate and the Rushton family, encouraged me to continue in my endeavors. When I see other homeschool families thinking outside the box when it comes to jobs, I am excited.

I know this is what I want to pass on to my own children. I want them to have the freedom to choose how they will earn money, not be enslaved to getting a job from someone else. There are other families out there who are like-minded in this area. These are the families I want my children to know so they can see college & a job are not always necessary to provide for a family. Too often my children think "everyone" just goes on to college after high school, but this is not true or necessary. When they see other teens starting their own business and make it successful, they can think outside the box when it comes to getting a job.
