I've been offline for about a week now, while we move all our "stuff" into our new home/office and unpack. Actually it is quite refreshing to be offline for awhile. But, I always dread opening that inbox and seeing all the e-mail that needs responding. I think we have most of our home settled and I plan to hang pictures today...yea! I still need to set up my desk in our office...ugh.
One great thing about this move is the help our kids have been to us. They willingly ask what else needs to be done. My girls did all the "catch-up" in our business, shipping orders and returning e-mail. While we were on the road, we still received orders for homeschool curriculum & books. You know, the internet does not shut down after hours. That's the beauty of our business. Our most popular book, A Thomas Jefferson Education, continues to be a big seller online.
Another highlight of our trip included those concepts of leadership education that I learned...through tapes & books. I'll let you know about them in future posts.
