Why not go on some field trips this summer? Call a few other families and make a day of it. Field trips usually encourage a strong love of learning!!!

Manufacturing facility - we visit these on vacations
Daily newspaper - try to go when they are printing
Museums - take your pick of what is nearby
Food processing - Blue Bell ice cream is near us right now
Local TV station - we watched the local news
Bakery - yum, yum
Historical sites
Blacksmith
Zoo
