Hurricane Relief Efforts

Greetings in Jesus' name fellow homeschoolers,

If the Lord is willing, I will be helping to organize some temporary, and
very basic schooling for the children at Shepherd's Inn in Port Acres. There
are 50-60 children there, most of which may be there for months as they wait
to find if there is anything remaining to go back to in New Orleans.

They will need readers, writing and grammer exercises, and arithmetic books
Reproducible arithmetic sheets would be best, but I will be trying to copy
things for each age group if permission is obtained from the publishers.

This is a wonderful opportunity to minister the Gospel of Christ while
meeting the needs of many hurting people. Please prayerfully consider any
way you can contribute to this need. The resident manager at Shepherd's Inn
suggested this as a need and it is an area in which homeschoolers may best
be able to meet it with the resources we have. So.......
