Younger Kids with Great Books

Wes Callihan wrote an excellent article about preparing younger students for a Great Books education www.schola-tutorials.com/prepare.htm

FWIW, Wes is an excellent teacher and mentor. My girls are in his Great Books Class 3 and attended his Summer Academy this past summer. I listened to several of his talks about the Seven Councils of the Church. As always, they were excellent. It was really cool because he sat out on his lawn with all the kids gathered around him under a huge tree. All the kids were attentive and asked questions throughout the talks. I know my kids are getting a Christian worldview of great books through this class.

Last spring, my oldest daughter had the privilege of interviewing Wes about why you should study the classics. She even sells the interview through our website - Why Study the Classics?
