I just received a copy of Rachel Ray's newest recipe book, Express Lane Meals: 30 minute meal cookbook. Rachel gives you a list of stock items you should keep in your kitchen so you can make these meals. Each recipe lists a few items you can pick up through the "express lane" on your way home to make dinner.
Last night, my middle daughter made Paprika Chicken over noodles. She followed the recipe, except she substituted fettucini for egg noodles. (She doesn't like egg noodles). I can't wait to try some more of these recipes. I even listed some of my favorites by main dish category (chicken, beef, pork) on the inside cover with a post it.
Another plus are the three chapters...
Meals for the Exhausted (in other words....easy, easy, easy)
Meals for the Not Too Tired
Bring It on! (But Be Gentle)
All the meals can be prepared in 30 minutes!!
Blessings,
Kerry
