Struggling Financially???

A month ago I sent out several emails about Steve’s new website course. We had a great week sharing some of the ideas in the course. During that week I also learned that several of my customers think we live the “high” life since we sell expensive courses. Originally I wrote a response to the emails I received about this matter, but Steve suggested I wait to send it after his course was pulled from the market. Soooo, I would like to share my response about having a job, investing in courses and struggling financially.

---------------------------------------
Several of you believe that we have never struggled financially. Nothing could be farther from the truth…

First of all, God gave us many years where I was praying daily for our next dollar. Ever since we were married Steve was self-employed, never receiving a weekly or monthly paycheck. We didn’t ask God to be self-employed, but that is what he provided for us. Although there were times we didn’t know how we would pay our bills, I was strengthened in the Lord. Our family does not live extravagantly and doesn't live off our credit card. I believe God blesses us with just the amount of money we need because of those two things, especially the lack of credit card debt.

On a side note, I think many people in America today do not see where they can cut expenses. Most of the time there are expenses that can be cut. I remember one year back in Bryan where we went out to eat once or twice…and that was because I would set aside a dollar each week from groceries so we could afford it. I also remember many years when Steve was the deacon in charge of our church’s benevolence fund in Bryan. He was amazed at how people spent their money, thought they were strapped, and believed they deserved help from the church. Thank goodness, we had an associate pastor who could help these families budget their money and reduce their unnecessary expenses.

So, YES, we do know what it is like to struggle to make ends meet. If you read Steve’s letter about his Sites that Sell course, you will discover that we strongly caution against buying for those of you who are using your last two nickels to pay for the course.

-----------------------------
(Another Side Note) …our view of buying business courses is an investment. When we purchase a course like this one, we look to see if we will be able to pay for the course after we take action and implement its suggestions. Most courses we buy are paid for in 2-3 months (after implementing their ideas). One of those courses even cost us $1000 and we paid for it in 2 months after taking action

-----------------------------

The Beck family is very different from most. As I said before, Steve has never had a J.O.B., nor depended on “the man” to pay us money so we could pay bills. I am so grateful to God that He put us in this situation because we have more freedom than most around us. We have the freedom to fail, as well as the freedom to succeed. We work hard to show our children that working for someone else greatly reduces the freedom you have over your life. The irony of this is our friends with jobs often struggle the most. One of Steve’s best friends had a great engineering job that he suddenly lost. He had to scramble and find a way to pay for their first house and first child (to be born in a few months.) Jobs are not all the security they are cracked up to be. Only God’s provision, in whatever form it comes, is the security you can trust in.

This is one of the reasons we are creating tutorials like Secrets to Building Sites that Sell. I believe America can be changed, one small business at a time. AND, I believe that the internet is the quickest and cheapest way to start a family business these days. Entrepreneurs will make a difference in their communities!

If you are not down to your last two nickels, then take a look at what Steve’s course can do for your family. It can be the first step to freeing you from working for “the man” and finding a way to make money outside of a J.O. B.

***** None of this is intended to offend you, but simply to share from my heart.

May God bless you in all of your endeavors.
Kerry Beck
