Despite what you may believe, the most profitable websites are not the complex ones with hundreds of pages. The most effective (and therefore most profitable) sites have only one web page, which sells only one product.
Why is that, you ask?
Quite simply, it is a matter of focus.
On a single-page website, you decide whether to buy or not to buy. That's all. There are no buttons or links or other products to divert you from your goal. Sometimes, a box appears to offer special deals or promotions in exchange for an e-mail address, but otherwise the decision remains simple. Buy? Or not?
Since there are no distractions, the only thing speaking for you is your sales letter. Make it powerful, make it compelling, and the customer will buy. Make it boring or incomplete, and your customers will bye-bye. If your sales letter is written well, your sales will increase. The sales letter must explain to the customers exactly how your product will solve their problems. Be specific, and speak directly to them.
So, now that you have their attention, how are you going to convince them to buy?
There are many elements to a sales-inspiring letter. Using a sales letter template will help ensure you don't miss any essential parts, which could cost you money and sales. Use a headline to grab their attention. Find a hook, a clever way of presenting the material that convinces them to keep reading. Show them all the benefits of your great product and tell them exactly how it will help them live a better life. This is a great place to display testimonials from other satisfied clients, your guarantee of satisfaction, and anything else you want them to know about this one product.
Using a template can give professional results, even if you aren't a writer. Since your sales letter is often the only contact you have with customers, you want it to be perfect. Make sure your sales letter gets results - use a template!
Look around for other sales letters. Find a few good sales letters, and keep the best examples. They can provide welcome inspiration and a great framework for your own sales letters. Keep track of what works and what doesn't, and use those best practices for your sales letter.
I don't write sales letters without a template, and neither should you. Templates help you include everything you need for a great sales letter. I use them to build a profitable online business - templates can be the key to your success, too!
