School has begun for most of us so I thought I'd pull together some activities specifically for September. When my kids were younger, I liked to tie together someone's birthday or special day with school. We've often made a french style dinner to celebrate Monet's birthday. The first time I made french onion soup, I was surprised how easy and tasty it was. I also had a chance at dinner to see what the kids remembered about Monet.
BTW...when we have a meal that's a little out of the ordinary, my family quickly asks what the meaning of the meal is :-)
